Story
Artist Statement

I’m a mixed media artist exploring nature, memory, and faith through textured layers, watercolor, and hand-drawn mark-making.

My work weaves together florals, fabric, textiles, lace, and embroidery with vintage and antique elements—pieces that feel like they’ve lived a life before reaching my hands. I’m often inspired by small, meaningful objects like grandma’s china, worn books, old papers, and inherited keepsakes. These fragments carry stories. They remind me what it feels like to be loved, safe, and held.

Art journals are at the heart of my practice. They’re where I discover, play, and grow. Through line, space, texture, collage, and intuitive layers, I gather memories and materials—sometimes messy, sometimes delicate, always honest. These pages become the foundation for my larger mixed media works, balancing realism and abstraction, structure and freedom.

Guided by faith and a belief in renewal, I create slowly and reflectively. My hope is that my art offers warmth and stillness—space to dream, to remember, and to reconnect with joy in the everyday.
My Dream
My dream would be to hold in person workshops and retreats. Image several artists experiencing the joy of art together in one place, discovering, playing, and growing. Making connections and life-long friendships.
