Welcome to Maria Gifford Art. By using this website or purchasing artwork, you agree to the following policies.
 

Overview

Maria Gifford Art offers original artwork, prints, commissions, and art-related services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of this website.

Artwork Details

Each piece is created by hand and may include natural variations in texture, color, and detail. These are part of the artistic process and make each piece unique.

 

Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen.

Commission

Commissioned work is a collaborative process.

​

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to begin

  • Final payment is due before delivery

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has started

  • Commissioned pieces are final sale

We reserve the right to decline commission requests.

​

Intellectual Property

All artwork and content remain the property of Maria Gifford at Maria Gifford Art.

This includes the right to:

  • Reproduce artwork as prints

  • Use artwork for marketing and licensing

Commissioned work will not be reproduced without Maria's written permission.

Orders & Payment

Please ensure all order details are accurate.

We accept secure payments through trusted providers such as Stripe, Square, Venmo, and PayPal.

All prices are listed in USD.

Payment Plans:

​We can work with you on the payment terms. We do offer payment plans to collectors purchasing original artworks or bulk pieces at one time. The artwork is on hold after the first payment installment has been collected. The collector can choice monthly or biweekly payment installments. When the payment is made in full, after 3 payment installments the artwork is lifted from the hold and shipped to collector. This can be adjusted up to 6 payment installments if needed upon request of the collector.

Framing

We do not include framing.

Some works have a frame built into the artwork and these are included in the price.

Shipping & Delivery

We process orders as efficiently as possible.

We are not responsible for:

  • Shipping delays

  • Lost or stolen packages marked as delivered

  • Damage during transit (claims must be filed with the carrier)

We do insure each artwork when shipped to confirm delivery.

Returns & Refunds

  • Original artwork: Final sale after 30 days.

  • Commissions: Non-refundable

  • Prints: Eligible for replacement if damaged (photo proof required)

Classes & Workshops

By attending a class, you accept responsibility for your safety and agree to follow all instructions.

Maria Gifford and Maria Gifford Art is not liable for injuries or accidents.

​

Full payment is due at the start of each class or workshop.

No refunds once the class or workshop has been purchased.

​

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for damages resulting from use of this website or purchased products.

​

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the site means you accept those changes.
