Coneflowers catch my attention as they stretch into the sky and annouce their presence in the summertime. From a sketch to a pop of pink color, this piece shows the process of growth in a painting process. Capturing the sketch and purposfully leaving it untouched as your eye is drawn to the fully painted pink coneflower stretching towards the sky.
